A Buddhist monk was approached by his young disciple. "Master, is it okay to use email?" "Yes, but no attachments." #heellocomedy

Browser vendors: time to support TLS 1.2...and go

@noah and @s It seems like all external links on heello have target="new", which leads them all to open in the SAME new tab. Randomly generate target or don't use it, I think.

I forgot to post this on heello, but here it is: A call to arms against using small font sizes on websites meant for content consumption on real screens. http://b.explodie.org/13qCI57

Once I clean the code up a hair, I'm totally releasing my script here. It hooks weather data into aws sns to text me the evening weather (so I can bring potted plants inside!); meant for cronjob.

@noah Exciting bug! The target="new" on a hrefs on someone's feed mean if you try to open multiple links from their profile, they all open in the SAME new tab.

We've doubled traffic and tripled ping posts in the past few days

@coxy Ahhh, it's chrome with turbo. ha!

Thumb

Aranjedeath about 1 year ago (in reply to @coxy)

@coxy I'll give it a try, but opera turbo is unnecessary since I've got ~30mbit downstream. It's a browser-crashing-or-locking-up issue :P

@coxy I never end up sticking with opera because it breaks too quickly... It doesn't deal well with lots of open tabs (or didn't in the past).

@coxy Heh. I'm running tandem with chrome and firefox. Chrome cause it's my fav, and firefox because I'm testing the new webapp integration in ubuntu. neat stuff.

@coxy Do you primarily use Opera?

@heello Awesome. I'm glad to hear some sort of discovery stuff is in the pipeline. Good work! :)
